I offer individual therapy for children and teens. I focus on creating a supportive environment where they learn to trust and share their experiences with me. Together, we will create a plan to address your child or teens specific challenges, such as anxiety, social difficulties, anger, self-esteem, or sensory challenges. With a personalized plan we will work together to provide them with the skills needed to develop a better understanding of themselves and succeed in all aspects of their life.

I am certified in providing PCIT, which is an evidence-based treatment aimed at helping families navigate behavioral challenges, such as tantrums, defiance, and aggression in children aged 2-7. Treatment involves two phases, the first of which is focused on enhancing warmth and positivity in your relationship with your child while the second is focused on limit setting. This method of treatment involves live, virtual coaching sessions in which I help you develop specific parenting skills during real interactions with your child.

I work with parents in a virtual group setting to provide information about Selective Mutism (SM). After gaining an understanding of SM, you will learn strategies for helping your child overcome the anxiety that is interfering with their ability to speak in certain situations. I explain a specific process (the fade-in process) for getting your child talking to new people and help you practice this skills needed to implement this effective process.

For parents and caregivers, I offer individual consultation to help you problem-solve a variety of challenges you may be facing with your child. Together we will create a plan that helps improve your relationship with your child and reduce frustrations. You will learn to utilize practical strategies that help you regain peace in your home.
